Natural Crystals and Gemstones are just ‘energies creations of nature’ put on Earth to be a help to us. Nothing more, nothing less. The following notes may sound contradictory, but for the sake and sense of gratitude and appreciation of God’s gift, I will be addressing ‘Crystals and Gemstones’ as something very special that should be respected.
Energy Kinesiology
As stated earlier, all of creation is composed of vibrational energies; frequencies ranging from lower and denser to higher and less dense.
Therefore, in our quest for health, wealth and well being, it is beneficial to focus on balancing our energy frequencies. For instance, in this pursuit, we can raise our vibration from a state of fear and control into one of bliss and contentment.
To do this we must consistently clear away accumulated physical, mental, emotional and spiritual debris that dampens our vibrational energy. It is the accumulation of this energy debris that would keep us vibrating at lower frequency levels.
Since the clearing away of these dampening energies raises our vibrational frequencies, in doing so, we will continue to uncover the true person we are created to be.
The energies within the Crystals and Gemstones are extremely sensitive to thought waves and absorb images and vibrations from those who handle them. Before commencing to use your stone, you must first remove all the unwanted, negative 'vibrations' and disharmonious energies which may have been absorbed during its journey to you. As such, should be cleansed regularly, in order to serve you better.
As you cleanse your crystals you will interact with them and your connection will be strengthened and a clearer link will be facilitated when you use them. It is important that when working with crystals, you clearly focus your thoughts and specific intentions with proper clarity.
There are many ways of cleaning crystals of negative energy and the method used is a matter personal choice. Not all crystals and gemstones can be cleaned in the same way and it is important to be aware too, that some crystals are sensitive to water and strong light.
There are quite a numbers of ways for cleansing, but here are my three favourite methodologies of cleansing which are simple and straight-forward.
Pure Water – Rain from the skys after the first five minutes of rainfall.
Rain water is a wonderful and universal cleaner. Crystals and Gemstones loves the rain and it cleans well within moments or it can be left to cleanse in the rain for many hours. Crystal can also be placed in running water like that of waterfalls …to be cleaned. Another is Blessed Water accordingly to your personal beliefs.
Salt water
Traditionally, natural salt is considered to have purifying qualities and another 'water' method is to fully submerge the crystal in a container of pure seawater for half an hour or more. Crystals prefer seawater, but should you not have access to it, using natural rock salt to warm water will work just as well.
Cleansing with Crystal Cluster
Clear Quartz Crystals or Amethyst cluster is one of the better clusters to put your other crystals or gemstones with. Both are very powerful crystal and excellent for cleaning. An easy way of cleaning small stones is to place them on an amethyst or clear quartz cluster. Amethyst geodes also work well and they are great for cleaning bracelets, necklaces, pendants or rings. It is important (If possible) to cleanse the crystal cluster in rain or full moon moonlight and this can be done every month or two.
Vibrational Cleansing
This is done in a bowl made of nine different metals or a high-fired quality porcelain bowl. (It is commonly known as the singing bowl) It can also be cleansed through the high frequencies vibrational sounds of mantras / prayers chanting in certain personal beliefs.
Sunlight is another cleanser but as Sunlight affects the colour of stones such as aventurine, amethyst, aquamarine, beryl and rose quartz to name a few; I do not recommend it except for sunning it at sunrise till /before 7 a.m. It is said that the cleansing process is often quickened when the crystals and gemstones are placed on or near a plant.
Negative energies that were around you are said to be quarantine within the crystals and gemstones, and the above cleansing deletes them off, and recharges up the energies within the crystal to full power.
So, it is very important to have your crystals and gemstones cleanse regularly, and the habit of exposing it to the light of the full month monthly if possible.
